Celebrity Constellation Cruise - At Sea - November 8, 2021

I woke up about 5:45 a.m. (although I think that was eastern time so probably actually 4:45 a.m.) and peaked out the window to see the first bit of light appearing over the horizon.  For the next couple days, we would have the benefit of the sun rising on our side of the ship.  I grabbed a Celebrity robe and my camera equipment and settled in on the balcony while Paul slept.  The sound of the waves and the changing light was absolutely magnificent and became my favorite part of the day for this trip.

By about 6:15 a.m. ship time, the sun had risen and it was time to go in search of coffee (after I stumbled in the dark for some clothes other than my pjs).  I knew Cafe al Bacio opened at 6:30 a.m. and that there might be something in Michael's Club (Suite lounge).  There was an expresso machine in Michael's lounge but I had no clue how to work it and guessed it didn't have non-dairy milk so I continued on to Cafe al Bacio which had opened early.  The ship was so quiet at this hour until I arrived at the coffee shop which already had a line forming.  I was happy to learn they had both almond and soy milk stocked and ready for lattes.  So I ordered an almond milk latte and asked for a chocolate muffin to bring back up to my room to enjoy on the balcony.

By the time I was finishing my coffee, Paul was waking up and it was time to head to breakfast.  We would spend the rest of the day wandering the ship and relaxing on our balcony.

Reflections Lounge - Many of Celebrity's ships have a similar lounge in the front of the ship on a high deck which is an amazing spot to watch the ocean.

Michael's Club bar - this is where I discovered they had Perrier on the ship!

My first glass of Perrier of the cruise but far from my last! (My Retreat Host was more than happy to stock our mini-fridge with Perrier.)

Martini Bar

Atrium

Entrance to Luminae (Suite dining room) - we were the first to arrive for lunch

Public bathrooms on Celebrity are always so well maintained (with a worker staffing them during busy hours) and have little cloth hand towels to dry your hands!

Martini Bar in full swing

Tonight's dress was evening chic (a replacement for the traditional formal night) and so we dressed up a little more than normal.

Before dinner there was an Officer's Social for suite guests in Michael's Club and so we had a chance to talk to Captain Theo, Cruise Director Kelly Rose, and other officers and staff members.

Since it seemed a lot of suite people were going directly from the Officer's Social to dinner, we decided to go find some music first and listened to The Nightlights in the Rendezvous Lounge.  We really enjoyed the Nightlights.

While in the lounge, a ship photographer took a really nice photo of us that we purchased.

We then had a late dinner in Luminae and did a little shopping before heading back to the room for a little balcony time and to get some sleep.
