2015 Canadian Cruise - October 6, 2015 - Boston

For all practical purposes, this was an at sea day for us as we never got off the ship. We have seen Boston recently enough and the location of the pier to main attractions were enough to convince us to enjoy a quiet ship. The weather was beautiful: sunny and warm (I would guess around 70 F.)

We enjoyed breakfast in the Cosmopolitan Restaurant (main dining room) with a waiter who needed some practice with English. Fortunately it appears that he understood my dietary restrictions well enough or I just got lucky as I haven’t gotten sick yet. Here is a link to the breakfast menu. That said, after a couple of rough days at sea, I learned that I can’t take my motion sickness bracelets off right away. Being stopped I think was worse than moving. I’m glad I have my Psi bands which work really well.

So after a leisure breakfast and morning we worked out in the gym before a lunch at the Oceanview Cafe (buffet). In the afternoon, my husband played Xbox Kinetic. He was the only one who showed up for the event including any sort of leader. We just found the Xbox in the middle of a practically deserted lounge.

Then while my husband went to a movie, I had a massage by Olena who was very good. (I have booked two more to take advantage of a package deal.)

It was then a low key afternoon followed by dinner and then a low key evening in the room. (We intended to attend an art seminar on Thomas Kinkaid but after walking through the art gallery where we were not left alone by a salesman trying to put pressure on us, we decided to skip it and relax.

Dinner was great as it has been. Here is a link to the dinner menu.
