This morning we woke to much rougher seas and high winds. They have asked us to stay off the open decks and stepping out on my balcony proved why they request that. I understand that we experienced 5-6 meter (16-20 feet) waves. Here are some photos:
We attended a Top Chef at sea competition with Executive Chef Paul Carroll which was entertaining.
We enjoyed lunch in the main dining room as it was actually open since it was an at sea day and there were menu items that I could actually eat. It turned out be a great choice as the seafood dish I had was incredible. Here is a link to the menu.
Dining in the main dining room was again delicious. Here is a link to the menu.
The show in the Celebrity Theater was Antonio Salci, a pianist with the Celebrity Orchestra. It started off on “a wrong note” but turned to be an enjoyable evening.
I ended the day with a martini at the Martini Bar Crush. They had a DJ, a guy making an ice sculpture, and two entertainers. The bartenders also put on quite a show. It was a great end to the day. Here is a link to the Martini Bar menu (Part 1 and Part 2). My favorites include the Eurekatini, Sunset Martini, and the Peartini.
