The final day has come upon us. Suitcases have been pulled out from their storage under the bed, drawers are being emptied, and we are making our last memories of the cruise. At the moment of drafting this post, I gaze out at the waves passing by. Fog is obscuring any chance at seeing land but I know we can’t be too far.
This morning we worked out in the gym which overlooks the front. It is easy to find peace through yoga poses and stretching with a view like that.
As I stood in a long line at the salad buffet, I had to laugh when I heard a woman comment that no one wanted a salad two weeks ago. It’s funny. The gym was empty the first at sea day and by the end, people had to wait in line for machines.
We enjoyed a fairly quiet day. My husband went to a presentation put on by our Cruise Director John Grantham about his 20+ years as a Hollywood actor and stuntman while I enjoyed a glass of wine on our balcony.

Here is a link to the Celebrity Today.
Here are some of my highlights from the two weeks:
- The food (in both the buffet and the main dining room, as well as seafood in local restaurants)
- St. Ann’s Canyon
- Walking the streets of Quebec City
- The views on our bus tour near Sydney, Nova Scotia
- The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax, Nova Scotia
- Listening to Passion Duo or Sean Roach in one of the lounges
- Tasting many varieties of martinis at the Martini Bar
- Band Artisque’s show in the Celebrity Theater
- Pure maple syrup candies
- Just watching the waves go by
We have been extremely pleased with Celebrity and the Summit. The food has been incredible both in the buffet and in the main dining room. They have also done really well accommodating my dietary restrictions. Our room steward is one of the best we have ever had. As for entertainment, we enjoyed a variety of really good entertainment in lounges and the Celebrity Theater. I will post a more detailed review for those interested.
