Being young and looking for some exercise, we walked to town, wandered a bit, climbed the 99 Steps, and checked out the outside of Blackbeard’s Castle.
Then we stopped in a couple of shops on our way back to port. The temperatures were in the low 80s with a mix of sunshine and some isolated rain showers that were quite refreshing.
Our room was the far right room on the middle row shown here. |

We enjoyed lunch on the ship and the wonderful atmosphere of the Caribbean on our balcony with great views of St. Thomas, a band playing on shore, and canapés. I put in a few extra steps (over 21,000 today!) checking out the bars of the ship and bringing back drinks. The beverage package has been so worth it. The Eurekatina is my current favorite from the Martini Bar.
After dinner (and before the show), we headed up to the Lawn Club to watch the Hot Glass Show with the Corning Museum of Glass. There are only three ships that have glass blowing on them and so this was quite a treat and something we could watch throughout the cruise. Here are some photos:
The show tonight was Chandelier put on by the Celebrity Singers, Dancers, and Acrobatic Performers and was amazing. This was my favorite show.
