Exotic Western Caribbean Cruise–Day 7–Cozumel, Mexico–August 23, 2013

This morning my husband woke early to a lightening storm and so we were up as we arrived in Cozumel, Mexico.  The night before we had decided to have breakfast in the room and we had not anticipated getting up so early so we had to wait a bit for room service.  Here are a few pictures of the port as we entered along with Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas who was also in port this day.


After breakfast we got off to wander and shop.  All we purchased this port was a hat for me.  As the port is quite a distance from downtown Cozumel, we stayed in the shops right off the pier.


The Alchemy Bar had a martini tasting.  It was a blind tasting test.  Each individual got to try four of the seven martinis or if you paired up you could try all seven and save the last glass for your favorite.  The bartender was amazing and we really enjoyed it.

One of my favorites was a Chipotle Pineapple Martini.  The tasting included the following martinis:

• Invigorating Mint Martini
• Spicy Chipotle Pineapple Martini
• Forty is the New Twenty
• Caribbean Manhattan
• Curative Peach Cosmopolitan
• Radical Cure

After a nice dinner without the kids (they had dinner at Camp Carnival the kids program), we all went to the Punchliner Comedy Show to listen to Cowboy Bill Martin for a family friendly show which we really enjoyed.
