This was our first sea day. We slept in a little bit and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast at Hudson's. We got a table almost at the exact center of the back with a great wake view.
Our view at breakfast.
Egg and Avocado wrap with turkey sausages, a grilled tomato, and country potatoes - my favorite breakfast.
Here are a few of Paul's favorite breakfast dishes.
Muesli
Grapefruit with orange slices
Banana Pancakes
Sometimes it is the little things that capture our attention in life and this was no exception. This is a combined salt and pepper grinder. You twist one way to grind salt and the other way to grind pepper! Such an interesting invention!
After breakfast, we decided to do a round of mini-golf. This is currently free on the Prima but there will eventually be a charge. I understand eventually they will get balls that track people's strokes and keep score. It will then end with a chance to win a prize including a free cruise.
For lunch, we checked out The Local, a 24 included dining venue. It was already quite busy by 11:30 a.m., probably because most other dining venues didn't open until noon.
Pretzel balls with beer cheese
Carrot Cake
The afternoon was spent on our balcony with a short break in the middle for a race on the Speedway.
Bacardi Mojito
We really enjoyed this balcony a lot!
Here is a full tour of our cabin.
A few photos from Paul's race around the track.
In the afternoon on two different days we received afternoon snacks.
Royal Tern - he seemed a bit far from land.
Flying Fish - We saw so many flying fish on this trip and I was so excited to manage to snap this photo. These fish are so fast and appear so small from our deck 11 balcony!
Sunset was really pretty.
We decided to try the other main dining room for dinner tonight, Commodore. It is a smaller but still very nice dining room, the food was just as good, and the service great but I will admit we missed the views from Hudson's.
Chocolate Lava Cake, not quite as good Carnival's but still pretty good
After dinner, we took a walk along the Oceanwalk.
Paul tried to improve his time for You and the Track this night at the Speedway and then we retired back to the room for some balcony time before bed.
