Overall it was an interesting trip through the Upper Peninsula and gave us an idea of what else we may want to do up there. Hopefully next time we visit the UP, temperatures won't be so hot and humid.

Sunday, July 18, 2011 - Time to head home
We planned to finish our trip with a tour of the Sand Point Lighthouse in downtown Escanaba, MI but unfortunately their hours were not what are reflected on the website and we really didn't want to sit around and wait for 2 hours so I took a few pictures and we headed home.
Overall it was an interesting trip through the Upper Peninsula and gave us an idea of what else we may want to do up there. Hopefully next time we visit the UP, temperatures won't be so hot and humid.
